What type of online stores qualify?

Web sites that qualify for the price match must be a retail store, although most sites that claim to be wholesale diamond retailers are not, so many sites that make this claim may also qualify for the price match. Stores that qualify must also be USA based which can be determined by their contact, or about pages located on their Web sites  Other factors which we will consider when qualifying a site for price match are:

• the store displays complete contact details, including phone number and mailing address.
• the store/business has been established for at least 12 months.
• the appearance of the site must be trustworthy, i.e. the site does not have links, banners and advertising to other Web sites all over their home page and product pages.
• the loose diamonds details are complete or at least match with our diamond details exactly i.e. the diamond color, clarity, carat, cut, depth, polish, table % etc must be the same as 4LooseDiamond.com.

Do eBay and other auctions qualify?

eBay and other auction type sites do not qualify because we cannot reliably obtain the legitimacy and source of the diamonds or the seller.

How do I get the price match?

To qualify for the 4LooseDiamond.com price match and discount, you must proceed through the checkout process for the diamond you wish to price match and receive the discount.  We suggest you print this page for easy reference.

This is my first time ordering with 4LooseDiamond.com:
1. on the diamond details page click "Add to Cart".
2. click the "Checkout" button on your shopping cart page.
3. create a new account by filling in your details, name, phone number, address, email etc. then click the "Continue" button.
4. check your shipping address is correct, and also "Free shipping" is highlighted. You will also notice a text box called "Add Comments About Your Order" on this page, and in this box you must type the words "Price Match" and copy and paste the exact web location (http://www.somestore.com/diamond-details...etc) to where you have seen this diamond. Once this has been done click the "Continue" button.
5. enter your payment information and click the "Continue" button and complete the order.

I have ordered with 4LooseDiamond.com before:

Once this process has been completed we will then check to see if the price match is valid as per the requirements mentioned above on this page.

If the price match is valid:
• we will make the necessary adjustments to the price and we will contact you by either phone or email to let you know.

If the price match is not valid:
• we will discard the order and contact you via email letting you know the order has not been approved.

Please Note: Your credit card is not charged until we can verify that the price match is valid.  If price match is not valid your credit card information is discarded. We do not keep credit card information on file.
